Book Discussion

I love reading, and I love talking about the books I read. Sometimes, though, I have trouble getting past “I really, really loved it!” or “Ugh! I couldn’t stand it!” So I appreciate having some thoughtful questions to start the discussion.

My friend Lisa Dennis came up with insightful and stimulating questions about Penina Levine Is a Potato Pancake and Penina Levine Is a Hard-Boiled Egg. Lisa is the Coordinator of Children’s Collections at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh where she selects new materials for children and compiles lots of booklists.

Email me! If your reading group is talking about Penina Levine Is a Potato Pancake or Penina Levine Is a Hard-Boiled Egg, I’d be happy to be in on the discussion—virtually. Please email me your questions, and I’ll do my best to answer every one. It will be like having the author at your meeting. Please indicate in your e-mail which book you are reading.

I am available to lead discussion groups in person, too. Please see my programs page for more information.
