For writers in grades 4–8 or 9–12:
Writing Workshop: Show; Don’t Tell
“Show; don’t tell” is good writers’ advice. It is also the title of my writing workshop for students in grades four and up. Students learn how to appeal to all the senses to bring their writing to life.
For anyone in Western Pennsylvania:
Who Is the Writer in Your Neighborhood?
Pittsburgh is the home (or has been the home) of many wonderful children’s authors and illustrators! This workshop introduces our local authors and illustrators through read-alouds, booklists, and online resources. Since our region is so rich in and artistic talent, this workshop can be tailored for all ages, preschool through adult.
For classrooms or community groups interested in Hanukkah:
The Dreidel Book of World Records
Including the world’s biggest dreidel, the longest–spinning dreidel, and the most dangerous dreidel. Participants get to see (and maybe play with) the most precious dreidel in the whole wide world.
